What a Medical Aesthetics Consultation at Hebe Beauty Bar Actually Looks Like

For a lot of people, the hardest part of booking their first aesthetics appointment is not the treatment itself. It is not even the cost. It is not knowing what is going to happen when they walk in the door.

Uncertainty is completely understandable.

And, it’s also one of the most common reasons people put off booking for months longer than they intended to. So, let’s walk you through exactly what a consultation at Hebe looks like, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave with a plan in hand.

Before You Arrive

When you book a consultation at Hebe, you will receive a brief intake form in advance. This covers your skin history, any treatments you have had before, medications you are taking, and your general goals.

We will have a quick 20 minute phone call that goes over all your questions and supports what you need.

Taking a few minutes with this beforehand means your appointment time is spent on the conversation that matters, not on paperwork.

When You Walk In

You will be welcomed by our staff, invited to sit in our cozy waiting room and be offered a refreshment so you stay hydrated and comfortable.

The Assessment

This is the heart of the consultation, and it is where Hebe's approach differs from a lot of clinics.

Rather than jumping straight to treatment recommendations, our staff will spend time actually looking at your skin. They will examine you in different lighting, from different angles, and in the context of your full facial structure.

The assessment looks at things like skin quality and texture, areas of volume loss, the relationship between different facial features, any pigmentation or tone concerns, and how your skin is aging specifically, because everyone's skin ages differently and a good treatment plan reflects that.

Your assessment will be done before your first treatment visit, so everyone is on the same page.

The Conversation

Once the assessment is done, your provider will talk you through what they are seeing. Not in clinical jargon, but in a way that makes sense to you. We want you to know what’s going on. You will hear what is driving the changes you have noticed, what treatment options exist for those specific concerns, and what a realistic outcome looks like.

This is also where you get to ask everything you have been wondering about. What will it actually feel like? How long does it last? What happens if I do not love the result? What should I not do before or after? There are no silly questions in a consultation. We’ll answer them honestly - including the ones where the honest answer is 'that treatment is probably not the right fit for you.'

The Plan

By the end of your consultation, you will leave with a clear treatment plan. Not a vague recommendation or a huge list of what’s on special that month. A genuine, prioritized plan built around your goals, your timeline, and your budget.

For some clients, that plan starts with a single treatment. For others, it maps out a sequence over several months. Either way, you will know exactly what is being recommended and why, and you will have the information you need to make a decision without feeling pressured.

Do you have to commit to anything at the consultation?

No. A consultation at Hebe is a conversation, not a commitment. You are welcome to take the plan away, think about it, ask follow-up questions, and book when you are ready. The goal is for you to leave feeling informed and confident.

That said, many clients do choose to book their first treatment at the consultation, simply because the process answers the questions that were holding them back.

Ready to book yours?

If you have been curious about what medical aesthetics could do for your skin, but not quite ready to commit to a treatment, a consultation is genuinely the right first step. It costs you nothing except a portion of your time. You will walk out knowing exactly where you stand, and what you’re ready to start with.
